First visit
During your first visit, Jianhua Mu will form a TCM diagnosis and begin your personalized treatment plan.
Rates and payment
The first visit is $150, and each follow-up visit is $110. We accept cash, check, and card. Package discounts may apply.
Insurance coverage
We are in-network with most major insurers, but not all plans cover acupuncture. To confirm your coverage, please give us a call.

How does acupuncture work? The most common form of acupuncture uses thin needles to stimulate and enhance the body’s natural healing processes. Traditionally, acupuncture is also believed to balance the energy flow (Qi) through the body. Does acupuncture hurt?Most patients experience little or no pain from acupuncture, though a slight pinch or tingling sensation is normal. The needles we use are much thinner than those used for injections in Western medicine, making them much more comfortable. What conditions can acupuncture treatAcupuncture can treat many conditions, including chronic pain, mental health disorders, and women's health issues. If you have a specific health concern, call us to see if acupuncture might be a viable option for you. How many treatments will I need? The number of treatments you'll need depends on various factors. Because each person responds differently to treatment, we believe it is counterproductive to tell patients a fixed number of treatments for full recovery. Do you accept my insurance? Insurance coverage for acupuncture varies depending on your provider and specific plan. Some insurance companies cover acupuncture while others only cover it for treating certain conditions. Reach out to us, and we’ll be happy to assist you in determining your coverage. What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment? We understand that things come up. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance so we can accommodate other patients. We’ll do our best to find a new appointment time that works for you.
